Zoinks!! A Scooby Doo Giveaway...

I KNOW I am not the only one with a couple of Scooby Doo fans in residence. A&W are obsessed with Scooby and, to be honest, it is a show I really like to watch with them. I was a fan growing up and I am still a fan today.  I have a great Scooby feature to share with you all and it is a super way for parents and kids to enjoy Scooby together.

Zoinkify.com is a newly launched site which is a part of Zoinks Points (more on that in a minute) which allows you to turn yourself or your child into a monster in a Scooby episode!  I could not wait to try this out with A&W.  We set out to Zoinkify ourselves and it is so easy to do! 

You simply choose your monster (9 different ones are available!) and then grab one of the pictures from your Facebook albums.  You can then size your face so it fits just right within the monster mask.  Again, I want to stress how user friendly this is.  I am not even remotely a computer guru and this was a snap to do.  It was also super fast (less than a minute to create) which, as you all know, is key when you are working with kiddos!

Now for the being Zoinkified!  What fun.  There is a short clip of the monster and then the gang chasing it down and pulling off its' mask only to reveal (in this case) Mama!  The boys thought this was HYSTERICAL!  After the clip is played you are given a code to redeem for Zoinks Points as well as options to e-mail your new identity, put it on Facebook or to replay.  We decided to create new monsters and spent the next 20 minutes of so making different family members different monsters.  There are so many combinations to create that boredom is not really a factor here.  You can see me as a Scooby villain here.

After I finally convinced A&W to be done Zoinkifying the entire family we headed over to redeem our points.  You can visit the Zoinks Points website to redeem points for all sorts of fun things like virtual rooms to decorate for the gang.  My guys purchased Scooby's room and chose a lying down Scooby to reside in the dog bed!  You can also purchase story books, audio mysteries and coloring pages.  There are many ways to earn Zoinks Points.   In addition to being Zoinkified, any Scooby purchase you make will include a code for you to redeem online for more Zoinks Points.
