Amazing Cows: Udder Absurdity for Children by Sandra Boynton....Review & Giveaway!

Oh, how I love Sandra Boynton for her silly books for children!  I have read and read and read so many of her fun tales to A&W and now Baby R and her books are among some of my favorites.  I was thrilled to hear about her latest offering, Amazing Cows:  Udder Absurdity for Children.

First of all let me clear something up...this book is not just for children.  This book is for, as the cover states, "all ages up to a hundred and moo".  Kids and adults alike will laugh out loud out the pure silliness which is classic Boynton.

Amazing Cows is full-color, 96 pages long, and packed with the kind of silly fun that young readers adore, especially when they can read it to themselves—and then read it to their parents, and then to their little brothers, and then to the family dog. Or the family cow.


This book is just so much fun.  Read in bits and spurts it is perfect for  pre-schoolers.  Older children will enjoy reading it themselves and even adults will get plenty of chuckles from this ode to cows (I know I did!).  The illustrations are bright and quirky and perfect to draw your child in.  Once they hear the jokes and the funny stories they will be hooked.
