Storyland Yoga...Review & Giveaway!

In our home, I try and stress the importance of exercise.  We do not have a gym membership so our family's exercise is generally done at home in the form of exercise videos.  The kids have always taken a big interest in anything we do and exercise is no exception.  They will often try and mimic what I am doing in my routines but it is tough for kids to keep up with exercises geared toward adults (hey...it is tough for ME to keep up!). When I was approached by Playful Planet to check out their yoga video for kids, Storyland Yoga I could not wait to give it a shot with the kids.  Here is the scoop...

What a wonderful way to children to be introduced to yoga!  The teacher Ahmed Fahmy takes the children on two great adventures teaching them yoga poses along with way.  Ahmed incorporates animal poses into the story seamlessly teaching the children the poses while keeping them engaged in the story.   A&W at nearly 5 really enjoy doing this video and we do it several times a week.  Condor Trek is their favorite taking them on a mission to help a mommy condor get her eggs back.  So fun!  I love that the boys are getting an introduction to yoga, a great story and the wonderful health benefits of yoga (stretching, flexibility, focus etc...).  Thumbs up from us all!   You can pick up your copy today on Amazon...
