A&W adore this book!! First of all, like most children their age they are very interested in different sorts of vehicles and Everything Goes: On Land has just about everyone you can imagine. From cars, trucks (all sorts!) RV's and motorcycles the author, Brian Biggs, doesn't miss a thing! The kids love seeing the insides of different vehicles and they particularly enjoy the RV page. They are imagining us living in an RV often now...now read this: Reviewed by Mom Takes it on the Road! I think I will let them keep that idea as one for imagination purposes!
What adds a whole other level of fun is the interactive portion. Finding the numbers and the silly items in the bright, lively illustrations adds so much more to the story. After I have finished reading the story the kids like to do the "find" portion and one of them will often take the book to bed and flip through it as he is falling asleep. The pages are really just filled to the brim with fun characters that you really do discover something new each time you open up the book.
What Goes: On Land is a huge hit with A&W and I highly recommend it to anyone with children in the recommended age group of 4-8. It will provide hours of enjoyment and lots of fun! We're a mini van family and I've come to terms with that. :) I hated it when we realized we had to buy one (it's difficult to fit 3 car seats in the back of a small car).

Right now, we travel in a 1985 Dodge Diplomat...we're hoping to be able to afford a minivan soon so that it will be easier for me to get our four children in and out of the car. (Three of them are still in carseats.)
We travel in a Chevy Tahoe right now. It works out pretty well, it has rear a/c and heat. The kids can see out well and ask questions about sites along the way. We would love to have a Travel Camper but that will have to wait until we save up enough money to buy one.

We got rid of our car 3 1/2 years ago for financial and environmental reasons. Our favorite mode of transportation is walking, which has helped us slow down and enjoy our surroundings. When we travel distances, I love the train. It mat take a little longer, but you get so see parts of the country you'd have otherwise missed!
