When I was given the opportunity to do a review with Mohawk Home I was so excited. An area rug is really a quick way to spruce up your space and the rug in our living room was in dire need of replacement. Check it my "before" space complete with crazy children...
The only problem? The vast selection of styles and choices!! Mohawk Home has a staggering amount of rugs to choose from and it took me such a long time to make a choice...there were just so many great rugs that I had a hard time choosing. So, this is not a problem at all! No matter what you decorating style, Mohawk Home will have just what you are looking for. I really love that rusty, orange color and I have a brown couch but I wanted to incorporate some more bold colors so, after much debating, I decided on the Tropical Acres Rug. I love, love, love it!!!
Doesn't it look so much better?? I am thrilled with the quality. It is plush and cozy and the kids can't stop rolling all over it....
The colors are nice and vibrant and I think the rug alone really transforms the space and it gives me lots of other color choice to incorporate into my decor. I simply could not be happier. For the life of me I can't find any way to shop their rugs! I searched both Lowe's and Home Depot, as well as their own website, PLUS Mohawk Flooring, but no rugs! I also visited their Facebook and Twitter pages, but they didn't help either. ???? Anyway, I finally went to Amazon to see if they had any, and I found Room Essentials® Tufted Shag Rug - Cream 60"x90". I'm sure Mohawk makes great rugs, but they might do well to make their site a bit more usable!
