Blowin' in the Wind by Bob Dylan and Jon J Muth...R&G!

I just had the pleasure of sharing a stunning picture book with the kids....Blowin' in the Wind by Bob Dylan and illustrated by Jon J Muth.  This book is an absolute, stand out treasure and one you won't want to miss.  Here is the scoop....
With words by one of the most admired songwriters of all time and illustrations by a Caldecott Honor medalist, this powerful and timely picture book will be treasured by adults and children alike.
Following the success of
Man Gave Names to All the Animals comes a stunning version of Bob Dylan's beloved song: the anthemic “Blowin' in the Wind.” Jon J Muth is the perfect artist to interpret Dylan's poetic lyrics for a new generation of readers.
.
This beautiful edition includes a CD of Dylan's original 1963 recording, plus a special note by renowned music columnist Greil Marcus, putting the song in historical context.
The words are the ones we all know so well from the talented Bob Dylan but they are now set to stunning watercolors of children that truly are breathtaking. There are several children depicted and Muth does a great job including visual words from the song into the artwork (mountains, seas).  There is also a paper airplane sailing through each page which my children delight in spotting.  The included CD is a great companion to this book.  The book itself is over sized and really would make a lovely book for a grown up Bob Dylan fan as well!  This is a book for little ones and grown ups alike!!  Pick it up in time for the holidays today on Amazon...

The publisher, Sterling Publishing is giving one lucky RBM reader a copy of Blowin' in the Wind! Thanks so much to the sponsor and here is how to enter...
