I was sent a variety of products from the Dove Nourishing Oil Care line and I could not wait to try it out. My poor, poor hair takes a lot of abuse from me. I have naturally curly/wavy/crazy hair and I spent a lot of time coaxing into straight submission with flat irons and hair dryers. Yes, my hair takes a beating.
The Dove Nourishing Oil Care line promises to take care of dry, rough and frizzy hair (hey, that is me!). It features the weightless Nutri-Oil technology (a blend of coconut, almond and mineral oils) which penetrates hair to nourish without weighing it down. It is the only US brand to use this blend of oils!
I was excited to put the entire line to the test. The shampoo is nice with not too much lather and a nice light scent. The Daily Treatment Conditioner is really, really great. My hair tends to be a tangled mess even in the shower but the conditioner worked right through those tangles with ease. I really loved the look of this product too....white and creamy with a golden yellow stripe running through it.
After washing and conditioning I now use the Leave in Cream which works to reduce frizz without weighing the hair down. I feel like this helps control my hair and it does not leave it feeling heavy or greasy. Now, I love all the products in the line but my ultimate pick is the Anti Frizz Serum. This oil gives even more frizz control and gives a great shine without making your hair look oily. I used it before I blow dry and then a dab or two throughout the day whenever I feel like my hair needs a boost.
The Dove Nourishing Oil Care line is now a favorite. It has really made a difference in my hair AND it is reasonably priced. I am not a gal who will pay salon prices for my hair care but I don't feel like I need to. The Dove Nourishing Oil Care line gets great results that you can afford...thanks Dove!
