Orb Factory...R&G!

I really enjoy finding new ways to keep the kids engaged creatively. We love to do crafts at our house but when it comes to being creative, I am not such a rock star about this on my own. Sigh. So, until I am bitten by the Martha Stewart bug, I rely on companies with fun kits and ideas to keep the kiddos engage creatively. Right now I am loving the Orb Factory for creating fun for the kids AND me! Have you heard of The Orb Factory?  If not, let me give you a little background from their site...

Who We Are

Located in Halifax Nova Scotia, The Orb Factory Limited is a provider of award winning crafts & activities products, recognized for innovative designs, top quality products, and outstanding customer service. During 2011, we are celebrating 20 years in business! We are now sold in over 40 countries, have won numerous awards and have become a recognized and trusted name in the toy industry.
Our kits are easy to use, mess-free, and give amazing results every time. Our best selling line of Sticky Mosaics® allow kids to peel & stick sparkling foam and jewel tiles to create Mosaics by Number® that are ready for display. Our My First Sticky Mosaics® line brings crafting to kids 3+ with Big Pieces for Little Fingers®. Our toys are both imaginative and educational, and have been used as learning tools in classrooms around the world.

When I received an opportunity to review on of their award winning Sticky Mosaics I could not wait.  This sounded like just the sort of thing A&W would love.  I was sent the Pirates set which was perfect as the boys are WAY into Pirates right now.  There is a huge variety of mosaic types so you are sure to find something every child will enjoy.

When we opened up our set I was happy to see the kit contained 4 different pirate designs. This allowed each of the boys to independently work on one (and left one each for another day too!!).  Each design is on heavy, duty cardboard which means the creations have staying power which is a feature I love.  On the back of each there is even a special spot to write your childs name...love it!

The mosaics themselves are not only fun but educational as well.  They are color coded so children must match the color with the number throughout the design.  What a great way to promote color/number recognition and fine motor skills!  The pieces were a little challenging for A&W but they just turned 5 (recommended age is 5 and up) and it was a very enjoyable experience for them with helping out here and there.  Love, love this product and will absolutely be putting these kits on my "go to" birthday idea list.  This kit is priced at just $16.99 which is  a true bargain.  With 4 projects (with "jewel pieces" even!!) the kids will be entertained for a good long spell.  Another plus?  No mess.  None!!

I am already anxious to check out the other products The Orb Factory has to offer.  I have my eye on The Cardboard Adventure sets for the boys and the My First Sticky Mosaic Sets for Little R.  So much fun to be had courtesy of The Orb Factory!  Visit The Orb Factory today to check out their super variety of fun and educational toys for children.

I am so pleased to tell you that one lucky RBM will receive the Pirates Sticky Mosaic that I reviewed.  So much fun!  Thanks so much to the sponsor and here is how to enter...
