This book is just magical.  Right from the get go, my boys were enthralled by the leprechaun concept.  The illustrations (done by Kay Selvig Flanders) are vibrant and do a magnificent job of bringing little Amos to life.  My boys delight in finding Amos hiding amongst nature on each page.  I love how the author uses rich colors to express moods and things found in nature.  I found the book to be not only helpful in helping children identify colors but also feelings and moods.  Yellow is full of laughter while gray days find one having a hard time getting going.  Just perfectly expressive.  I knew this one was a hit when the boys asked me to read it again immediately after we finished it the first time and then again after the second...We read it three times in a row!  Wonderful story, beautiful pictures and a sure hit!  Pick it up today on Amazon...
