Char Crust....R&G!

We love to grill here at Reviewed by Mom.  I mean, seriously, we LOVE to grill.  There could be a foot outside and we will shovel out the grill, fire it up and pretend it is summer.  When I received the opportunity to try out a spice rub called Char Crust I was super excited.  I am always looking to spice it up in the kitchen or grill!  Here is some background on Char Crust....

About Char Crust® Char Crust® is a line of dry-rub seasonings that sear and form a beautiful crust that “Seals In The Juices®” on a variety of food items specifically meat, poultry and seafood. Flavors include: Original Hickory Grilled, Roasted Garlic Peppercorn, Ginger Teriyaki, Hickory & Molasses, Smoky Spicy Southwest, Amazin’ Cajun, All American Barbecue, Sun-Dried Tomato & Garlic, and Roto Roast. The product was first developed by Nathan Silver at his legendary Al Farber's Steakhouse in Chicago in 1957. The company is still owned by Nathan’s family and headquartered in Chicago where they manufacture their retail and foodservice products and sell them throughout the USA and Canada

Can you see why I was excited.  Yummy!  We were sent the Roasted Garlic Peppercorn to try out and it is DELICIOUS!  I have used it two ways....once with steak on the grill and once as a seasoning for roasted potatoes.  It was equally as wonderful on both.  The flavor was bold but not in an overpowering way and gave a real restaurant quality to both dishes.  I was also VERY impressed by the cost.  Four ounces retails for $5.49 and a little goes a long way.  As I mentioned, I have used my package for two meals and I have barely made a dent.  This is a great value for a delicious restaurant quality dry rub!  You can't go wrong.  I am thinking a variety pack of these rubs would make a super father's day gift.  In fact, if you click HERE you can order a 9 pack of spices and a cookbook (great gift!!).

I am so pleased to tell you that one lucky RBM reader will win the yummy Roasted Garlic Peppercorn dry rub I have been raving about!  Thanks so much to the sponsor and good luck!  To enter click "read more" and use the Rafflecopter form.
