Lamb's Easter Surprise by Christine Taylor-Butler....Out Now!

Are you all getting ready for Easter?  I have been reading the sweetest book that would make a great Easter basket addition (be sure to tell the bunny!).  Here is the scoop...

This sweet reissued Easter story now has soft flocking on the cover and every spread, so kids can pet fleecy Lamb as he prepares for a surprise Easter party!
“Wake up, Little Lamb! Morning is here. The time for Easter fun grows near.” But before they can play, Lamb and all his friends must gather eggs and dye them; decorate the barn, pick fresh flowers, and make an Easter egg trail to lead a very lucky girl to her special party. Can they get it all done in time? The cuddly animals and lilting rhyme will make this a perennial holiday favorite.

What a sweet book!  With pages filled with adorable farm animals who are soft and fuzzy to touch this book is sure to be a hit with you little ones.  Little R adores it and spends time patting each animal and oohing and ahhing over the party preparations.  I like how the animals all work together (hooray for teamwork!) and I think the illustrations by Cathy Ann Johnson are lovely with soft colors and charming faces.  This book is just great and I have a feeling this will remain on our bookshelf long after Easter season has passed!  Pick up your copy today on Barnes & Noble by clicking HERE.

Thanks to the publisher Sterling Publishing for  providing a copy of this book for review purposes!
