Lakeshore Learning Magnetic Counting Maze...Review & Give Away!

Kids build number recognition and practice counting…as they fine-tune motor skills with our fun magnetic maze! 13" x 14" hardwood board has 10 built-in “gumball machines” representing numbers 1-10…plus 55 colorful balls for children to count. Kids use the attached magnetic wand to move balls through the maze and drop them into each gumball machine—counting from 1 to 10 as they go! With a permanently attached, clear-view top to keep balls contained.
Are you all familiar with the company Lakeshore Learning?  Well, if you are not, you should be.  Lakeshore Learning creates educational toys and tools which are fun and engaging.  If quality toys are on your "to buy" list head right over to Lakshore Learning and you can't go wrong.  I am such a fan of toys that teach while making learning fun and Lakeshore Learning nails it in this department. Check out their mission statement....
Lakeshore is dedicated to creating innovative educational materials that spark young imaginations, instill a sense of wonder and foster a lifelong love of learning. With materials for infants & toddlers through the 6th grade, we help children reach developmental milestones and achieve educational goals—while still having fun! We know that each child is unique, and we strive to develop materials that appeal to children of all interests, backgrounds and abilities. And, of course, all of the products we carry must meet stringent quality & safety standards—so they’re strong enough for daily use in the classroom and safe enough for use by babies and children.
When I was approached to do a review for Lakeshore I was obviously delighted but I had a tough time choosing from their huge selection.  In a nutshell?  I wanted one of each (are you listening, Santa??).  I finally decided on the Magnetic Counting Maze.....

The minute this maze arrived the kids were clamouring to use it.  I  love the fine motor challenge and the counting exercise is fantastic.  This toys is wooden and sturdy and will stand the test of time. The kids play with this every day and the only problem is reminding them to share with one another!  I especially like this for the fine motor portion because A&W don't love to color or draw so I feel like this will help strengthen those muscles.  It is fun to try and get those gumballs in.  I have tried it myself!

If you are looking for a quality toy for the child in your life or a learning tool, be sure to visit Lakeshore Learning.  They will have exactly what you and your child need!

I am so pleased to tell you that Lakeshore Learning is giving one lucky RBM reader their very own Magnetic Counting Maze!  Thanks so much to the sponsor and here is how to enter...
