The Smurfs and the Magic Flute...Review and Giveaway

A magical flute is just what Court Jester Peewit needs to play delightful tunes that make everyone in the kingdom dance – until the dancing turns dangerous. Sir Johan tries in vain to recover the musical instrument, but a thief named McCreep beats him to it, intending to use the flute to steal gold from the King’s subjects. It’s the Smurfs-to-the-rescue when Papa Smurf devises a plan to create a second magical flute, and Peewit and Sir Johan go on a great adventure to find McCreep, win the musical duel and save the kingdom!


The boys were super excited to sit down and watch this movie, they have seen the Smurfs here and there and loved the new Smurf movie when we saw it in theaters.  After popping some corn and settling into the couch we hit play.  The beginning of the movie was a little slow.  The Smurfs don't appear in the movie until about 30 minutes in.  The kids seemed to remain fairly interested until then but their interest level definitely picked up once their little blue friends appeared.   All in all the boys gave the movie a thumbs up.  I loved that it was a great family film and my boys got a peek into the Smurfs I grew up with.
