Silver Penny Blog Tour: Puss in Boots! Review & Give Away!

I am so excited to be a stop on a very special blog tour....The Silver Penny Blog Tour!  The Silver Penny books are classics put forth by Sterling Publishing and they are perfect for little hands and big imaginations!  The books are beautifully done and look lovely all lined up on a bookshelf.

I had the pleasure of sharing Puss in Boots with my three little ones and they were mesmerized not only by the classic tale but by the whimsical illustrations.  In case you are unfamiliar with the story, here is the scoop....

In this charming fairy tale originally written by Charles Perrault, a clever, fast-talking cat changes the life of its penniless master, helping him win both a princess bride and a kingdom.

Children love fairy tales and this one is one of my own favorites.  The story, told by Diane Namm, is exciting, fun and teaches a lesson as all good fairy tales do...cleverness will get you far is you keep your mind set!  My children all adored the book and so did I. The story itself is a treasure and the illustrations are wonderful...vivid in color and detail, bringing the story to life!   I am also completely blown away by the price tag.  Are you ready for this?  Each book costs just $3.95.  I don't even know how that can be!!  A hardcover, wonderfully done fairy tale for under $4?  Yes, please!

You all know how I adore books.  I, of course, love new reads but I have a real soft spot for old favorites and think it is SO important to pass these old tales onto our children.  I highly recommend the entire Silver Penny series which can be purchased on Amazon....

I am absolutely delighted to tell you that my friends at Sterling Publishing are giving one very lucky RBM reader a set of Silver Penny books including the following classic tales:  Rapunzel, Snow White, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Jack and the Beanstalk, Hansel and Gretel, Puss in Boots, The Ugly Duckling and the Three Little Pigs. Thank you so much to the sponsor and here is how to enter.... a Rafflecopter giveaway
