Scholastic Storybook Treasures: The Halloween Stories Collection....Review & Giveaway!

As I mentioned earlier, I am here at home with some sick kiddos.  Between making chicken soup and making tissue/cough  drop and snuggle deliveries to the couches, I am a little wiped myself.  Lucky for me I had something special to keep my sickly crew restfully occupied for a bit.....The Halloween Stories Collection from Scholastic Storybook Treasures.  To be honest, this collection saved my sanity today.  I love my children to bits and pieces but I did need a little time to cross a few things off my to do list and these spooky DVD's were just the answer.  Here is the scoop on what kept my little sickies happy today while I took a shower and brushed my teeth (it's the little things that keep us going, right??)....

You have seen my reviews about the Scholastic Storybook Treasures before and you know I just adore them.  They take well loved stories and bring them to life.  Our whole families loves to watch these DVD's and they are one of my favorite gifts to give.  I am happy to report that this installment, The Halloween Stories Collection, was as popular with my crew as the others!  This was just the medicine needed today to ease the grumpiness of three sick kiddos and their harried Mama.  The kids were happy to watch new to them stories like Kitten's First Full Moon (Little R's favorite!)  and we were all delighted to see our absolute favorite Halloween story, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything.  This collection would be just thing to get your little ones into the spirit of Halloween.  I also want to mention how much I love the read along function especially now that A&W are reading.  I think this is a great feature and adds to the appeal of an already great product.

Thanks Scholastic for another great collection that we will surely enjoy over and over again!  You can pick up this 3 DVD set today on Amazon....
