I save money by looking for coupons and the ads of stores.

Don't take the credit card with you; only take the amount of cash you can afford when going Christmas shopping.

I learned you have the ability to pay down the balance on the Emerald Advance with a portion of your tax refund.

Your tax refund can be deposited directly to your bank account.

Money saving tip: Do not use your credit cards for purchasing small items. Use cash rather than credit cards for everyday items as well as gas, groceries, clothing, etc.

One good way of keeping costs down at Christmas is to pick names for gifts with extended relatives like aunts/uncles, cousins, etc. That way everyone gets a gift and you can not worry about buying 20 gifts to have everyone covered!

For holiday dinners, I always look for sales and freeze items like rolls until they're needed.
