Insightly....Real Solutions for Small Businesses!

Here at Reviewed by Mom I work with lots of companies....big ones, small ones and all those in between.  For larger companies, there are, most often, big groups of people dedicated to organizing clients, jobs and all the information that goes along with them.  For smaller companies though, the task of keeping organized when it comes to your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) it can be a bit more challenging.  In many cases you don't have the workforce to dedicate to that task alone.  This makes CRM programming choices much more important.

If you don't know what CRM Programming is, don't fret.  Simply put, it is a way to organize your contacts and your jobs.  I have been thinking about CRM Programming a lot lately because here at Reviewed by Mom, I am a one woman show.  By nature, I am pretty laid back which often makes it hard for me to stay ahead of my posts and jobs here on the site.  I had been thinking that a good CRM program would be just what I needed to stay on track.  However, I knew it had to be easy to use because, I am not afraid to admit it, I am NOT particularly savvy when it comes to new programs.

I am lucky to be a member of a network called Sverve, which connected me with Insightly.  Insightly has a user friendly CRM Program which is perfect for small businesses of 1-100 people (that's me!!).  I couldn't wait to scope out the program.

Yesterday I used the free download and jumped right into it. Guess what?  It really was as promised....easy to use and a complete program for all your small business needs.   To be honest, I was a little giddy that I had found a program that had everything I needed to make my blogging business more organized. Working from the dashboard, you can access different tabs which are...

Contacts
Tasks
Opportunities
Emails
Organizations
Projects

Most of these are pretty self explanatory.  Right away I imported my contacts from my gmail account (so easy!!).  Next, I began entering in my tasks.  For me, this is different posts I have to write.  I was able to enter these in easily, give myself deadlines AND make notes.  In about 15 minutes, I had everything I needed plugged in and at my fingertips in a system that is online and accessible to me anywhere!  Something that I am really excited about is the Opportunities area.  This will allow me to set some goals with companies and sponsors and track my progress with them.

On another note, Insightly is made for up to 3 users for free so if your business is larger, you can  assign tasks to others and share progress within your dashboard with co-workers.  Insightly really is a CRM   program that covers all your needs.

I can't believe I have waited to long to start using a program to help manage my blog business.  I already feel so much  more organized and know this will lead me to be more successful with my business.  All the information I need is always at my fingertips so I can stay on top of current jobs and ones planned for the future.  I can't recommend this product enough to all my blogger friends!  I believe Insightly will help me to be more productive, organized and, therefore, a better business owner.  To learn more about Insightly and to start using it in your small business today, visit them HERE.  You can also attend a webinar to see a demo (these run every 2 weeks) and you can register by clicking  HERE.

Pretty much. Small business tend to have very limited work force, if any. Mostly, it's just down to one person, or at best, a tight crew, all of whom carry the myriad of tasks that management will be faced with such as inventory, etc. This is when you'd need good software programs, and maybe consultancy companies, which understand convergence enough to get those things to you.
