The Boxcar Children Spooktacular...Review & Giveaway!

Last year the kids and I started to read The Boxcar Children. A&W (now 7) were immediately smitten. Every night before they go to bed, I read from a chapter book and 9 times out of 10 we are in the midst of a Boxcar Children book. We have read lots of the titles and A&W never tire of the adventures of Henry, Jessie, Violet and Benny. When we had the opportunity to read The Boxcar Children Spooktacular we couldn't wait! Here is the scoop...
A ghost mystery in their very own boxcar, a zombie, and a pumpkin-headed creature provide plenty of spooky fun for the Aldens in these three adventures! Includes three Boxcar Children Mysteries: #100 The Mystery of the Haunted Boxcar, #124 The Pumpkin Head Mystery, and #128 The Zombie Project.

First of all, from a frugal parent standpoint, I am a HUGE fan of this 3 in 1 book.  Three full stories are included in this one book and it retails for just $9.99.  Yes, please!  A&W LOVED the "spooky" nature of these stories.  They both love "scary" books and this level of scary was right up their alley.  In each of the stories there was plenty of mystery, suspense and the scariness was just enough to make it feel exciting but not so much to make it hard to sleep!  A&W just love the mysteries of The Boxcar Children and trying to guess who is behind the mysteries is something they never tire of.  If you are looking for a great read aloud series or early chapter book for your child be sure to pick up The Boxcar Children Spooktacular.  You will be starting them (or continuing them if you are already fans!) on a delightful series that will help spark a love of reading.  Pick up your copy today on Amazon...

I am so pleased to tell you that the publisher, Albert Whitman & Company is giving one lucky RBM reader a copy of The Boxcar Children Spooktacular by Gertrude Chandler Warner. Good luck and here is how to enter.. a Rafflecopter giveaway
