Adventuress Skin Care...Review & Giveaway!

As you know, I am a Mainer.  I love living in the Pine Tree State. It really is beautiful here but there are a few things I don't, actually, love.  Like driving on road that are eerily similar to ice rinks or the beating my skin takes hour after hour of watching my kiddos build forts in the snow and sled down big hills.  I don't think there is much you can do about the roads (besides stay off them!) but I am lucky enough to have been introduced to an  incredible skin care line that makes a HUGE difference in my winter skin...Adventuress!

Have you heard of Adventuress skin care?  It was created by a woman named Michele Carter who lives and loves an active lifestyle.  This means she "gets" what happens when you are out in the elements and knew   just what you need to protect your skin from sun, wind and frigid Maine winters!  Together with a world traveling biochemist, Carter created Adventuress with the active woman in mind.  The line  protects you from the elements, is made in bottles that are travel size friendly (take that TSA!) and are made from natural ingredients.  Hooray!

I had the opportunity to try two products from the line.  A moisturizer and a purifier that I am hooked on.  Here is the scoop....

Boldly Nourishing Moisturizer: An exclusive, targeted delivery system with essential emollients including French Rose Hip and Evening Primrose oils provides intense moisturization and results in exceptional hydration for skin. $32

Vividly Restorative Skin Purifier: Unblock pores while hydrating and firming your skin by using the power of quince seed and other naturally occurring fruit and plant extracts with this purifying, restorative serum. Packed with micronutrients to restore skin’s youthful radiance. $35

First, let me talk about the moisturizer.  It is fantastic.   If you have dry skin this is THE moisturizer for you.  It is heavy without being oily and greasy and left my skin feeling incredible soft and soothed without causing and breakouts.  The price tag is comparable to to other high end moisturizers and I will say that a little goes a long way with this product so your dollars will stretch here.  Next, the purifier.  I am obsessed with this.  My skin has a tendency to look dull especially in the winter months.  This purifier is my new secret weapon against that!   I apply it before the moisturizer and it leaves my skin clear and all "glowy".  I love it!!  Again, a little goes a long way with this product but I have to say,  I love this product so much I would probably find a way to buy it even if it costs more!

Check out the entire skin care line on the Adventuress website HERE.

I am so excited to tell you that one lucky RBM reader will win the Vividly Restorative  Skin Purifier ( you are going to LOVE it!).  To enter use the Rafflecopter form below.  Good luck!

Fine lines...and some, not-so-fine! This North Carolina sun doesn't help much either, so a great sunscreen would be good, too!
