Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could.....Revvin' Up the Reindeer!

I know Christmas is behind us but I wanted to share a really fun Christmas CD with you. It is one that I kept in my car this holiday season as we jetted from errand to errand.  We all really enjoyed it and I am not ashamed to say that I just listened to it yesterday....my Christmas spirit is still on high!   Brady Rymer and The Little Band That Could's Revvin' Up The Reindeer is sure to get you in the holiday spirit all year long (take my word for it!).  Here is the scoop...

Following eight albums and three Grammy nominations in the Children's genre, Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could introduce Revvin' Up the Reindeer, a holiday album for the whole family. 13 original tunes celebrate the loving, festive jumble of the season: caroling harmonies, brass and bells inflect the band's roots-y, feel-good sound, recalling beloved Christmas standards yet distinctively fresh and new. The title track is a 50's rock 'n' roll romp, imagining Santa with a souped-up sleigh; lyrical accordion embellishes the Klezmer-inspired ''Rainbow Candles''; the hopeful sing-a-long ''Christmas Wishes'' radiates with a lush, Motown treatment, and the band rings out the old and swings in the new in raucous, Dixieland jazz fashion with ''Baby New Year.'' Whispers of holiday standards weave cleverly throughout, conjuring up the magic of the holiday season. Whether you've been naughty or nice, Revvin' Up the Reindeer will be your new Holiday Jam!

Our Thoughts:  As I said, we have been enjoying this CD even after Christmas has passed.  This is a fun CD with a real unique sound.  I don't know about you but, as much as I love the Christmas classics, it is nice to hear something new.  Brady Rymer and The Little Band That Could has a real "oldies" rock sound to it that you will easily find yourself singing along to.  My absolute favorite is "Christmas Wishes" which is a lovely, upbeat song about Christmas Wishes coming true...it's such a nice message.  My kids really liked "Can't Sit Still" which I am sure spoke to their inability to hold it together in the days leading up to Christmas.

Brady Rymer and The Little Band That Could have created a new collection of holiday songs that are sure to be new favorites.  You can pick up a copy today on Amazon
