I know there has been a bit of radio silence here lately. Between school starting back up and juggling a few jobs, life has been a bit hectic! However, I am back and ready to bring you lots of fun giveaways including PLENTY of great books.
Right now my reading pile is absolutely huge. Lucky for me, the colder weather is setting in which, for me, means lots of cozy nights curled up with a good book. Here is a sampling of what I am currently reading...

The Testaments by Margaret Atwood
I first read The Handmaid's Tale in high school (thanks to Ms. Andersen!) and I have been a diehard Atwood fan ever since. I am thoroughly enjoying this follow up to The Handmaid's Tale and I never tire of Atwood's futuristic imaginings. I think she is brilliant.

The Nanny by Gilly Macmillan
Gilly Macmillan is another favorite of mine. She is a master of the twisty tale and, even though her books often scare me, I can't put them down! Stay tuned for a giveaway for this one in the coming weeks.
Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
I had heard a lot about this book and I couldn't help but be swept up into the hype. I am, for the most part, fairly smart about money but this book has some really solid advice for saving and spending. I am sticking to the plan pretty religiously and have found some great ways to further save and knock out any debt. I highly recommend this one.
It's All Too Much by Peter Walsh
This is an oldie but a goodie. I have been actively trying to let go of the "things" in our home. I tend to be very sentimental and the loss of my mom earlier this year only intensified this tendency. I have picked this book up again to reinspire myself to let go of the things that just take up space and bog me down. I know there are a lot of books about this subject and many newer ones but this one remains my favorite.
Quantum by Patricia Cornwell
My father introduced me to Patricia Cornwell many years ago and I have been a faithful fan ever since. Her series featuring Kay Scarpetta are favorites of mine. Quantum is the first of a brand new thriller series and I am loving it so far! Stay tuned for an upcoming giveaway for this one as well.
Yes, I am currently reading all of these! It is not uncommon for me to have several books going and I just grab the one I am most in the mood for. I am a definite bookworm.
